Imported
from Boston MA and looking something like Frank Zappa, Jeff Green
brings diverse, drum styles and mayhem. Hating to admit it, Jeff
lived and played thru the first wave of late '70s early '80s punk
with the Slutty Manequins - "when the rest of the Elk-Tones were
mere tadpoles." Jeff also graced these other "bosstown"
bands: Party Veterans, Velvet Juice, Spock's Brother, and Ouch
(with the incomparable guitarist, singer/songwriter, Andy Barrif).
After
moving to Wilmington, DE, Jeff settled in for musical stints with
Lost Parade (recorded by musical journeyman and ElkTone, Ken Herblin!),
2nd Chance Blues, Red
House, the Lowest Common Denominator and now Elkton MD's own
psychadelisurferbilly band, the ElkTones.
When
not noodling away at the drums, Jeff likes to recover from surgical
procedures (3 in the last year and a half). "How else am
I suppose to get pain killers?" he tells us. When not engaged
in medical adventures Jeff can be found with his pick up truck,
stuck in some ditch.
