Imported from Boston MA and looking something like Frank Zappa, Jeff Green brings diverse, drum styles and mayhem. Hating to admit it, Jeff lived and played thru the first wave of late '70s early '80s punk with the Slutty Manequins - "when the rest of the Elk-Tones were mere tadpoles." Jeff also graced these other "bosstown" bands: Party Veterans, Velvet Juice, Spock's Brother, and Ouch (with the incomparable guitarist, singer/songwriter, Andy Barrif).

After moving to Wilmington, DE, Jeff settled in for musical stints with Lost Parade (recorded by musical journeyman and ElkTone, Ken Herblin!), 2nd Chance Blues, Red House, the Lowest Common Denominator and now Elkton MD's own psychadelisurferbilly band, the ElkTones.

When not noodling away at the drums, Jeff likes to recover from surgical procedures (3 in the last year and a half). "How else am I suppose to get pain killers?" he tells us. When not engaged in medical adventures Jeff can be found with his pick up truck, stuck in some ditch.

Jeff listens to these excelent musicians and you should too:

Dick Dale (King of Surf Guitar), Los Straitjackets (Jimmy Lester-drums), Reverend Horton Heat, Laika and the Cosmonauts, Led Zep (Bonham!), Frank Zappa (Jeff met Frank after a Zappa concert in Boston!), Fugazi, Pixies, Jimi, Janis, Beatles, Stones, Mark Eliot Miller (Jeff's drum guru and hammering member of 13 and Hippies-&-Pilots), Satanic Butt Slayer (Dave Weisman-drums), Sex Pistols, Ramones, The Who (Keith Moon!), Buddy Rich (Jeff met Buddy in Harvard Square, Cambridge Mass after a concert!), Max Roche, Andy Barrif (now in Australia!), Ken Windle, Gretchen M, Steve B, Billy Garrett (guitar and quantum physics!), Larry Tucker Band, Alex Green, Local regional faves: Rapid City Rockers (Frannie Forest-guitar!), Apex Watson, Daze Alone, Solum (Pete, Chris, Kyle, and Ryan - the hardest hitting drummer in showbiz - love you guys!), Josh Neaves (must see drumming phenom), Hairforce 1, Michele McCandless (hurdy-gurdy, spoons, etc!), Dave Sumner(guitar!), Dave from MTJ (thanks for all the bass at open mic, you rule!), Von Kull, Bullets, Red Alert, Ever-Expanding Suckholes, the Jane Anchor, Cliff Hillis, Rich Fuester, Chapel, and of course the ElkTones (Jacque-V, Tom, Ken)!
